Standard Cancellation Terms

At Central City Hotel Kuala Lumpur, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and flexible while protecting both our guests and our business.

Free Cancellation

Up to 48 hours before check-in

Cancel your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours (2 days) before your scheduled check-in date. Full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-14 business days. This policy applies to standard room bookings made directly through our website or reservation channels.

Late Cancellation

Within 48 hours of check-in

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your check-in date will incur a charge equivalent to one night's accommodation. This charge covers the administrative costs and lost revenue from holding the room. The remaining balance (if applicable) will be refunded to your original payment method.

No-Show Policy

Failure to check-in

If you do not arrive for your reservation and do not cancel in advance, you will be charged for the full duration of your booking. No refund will be provided for no-show reservations. We strongly encourage guests to contact us if plans change or if you will be arriving late.

Special Rates & Packages

Promotional rates, special packages, and discounted bookings may have different cancellation terms. These will be clearly stated at the time of booking. Some promotional rates may be non-refundable or have stricter cancellation deadlines. Please review the specific terms for your booking type before confirming your reservation.

Group Bookings

Reservations for 5 or more rooms are considered group bookings and may be subject to different cancellation policies. Group bookings typically require longer advance notice for cancellations (7-14 days). A deposit may be required at the time of booking. Please contact our reservations team for specific group booking cancellation terms.

Peak Season & Events

During peak seasons, public holidays, and major events in Kuala Lumpur, stricter cancellation policies may apply. These periods may require cancellation notice of up to 7 days before check-in for a full refund. Peak season dates and event-specific policies will be communicated at the time of booking. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for bookings during these periods.

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond our control), we will work with guests to reschedule bookings or provide alternative solutions. Refund eligibility in force majeure situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. We recommend travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Important: Cancellation requests must be confirmed by our reservations team. You will receive a cancellation confirmation email once processed. Please retain this confirmation for your records. Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days from the cancellation confirmation date.
