General Terms

By making a reservation or staying at Central City Hotel Kuala Lumpur, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you (the guest) and Central City Hotel Kuala Lumpur. We reserve the right to refuse service or accommodation to any guest who violates these terms or engages in behavior that disrupts other guests or hotel operations. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. Rates quoted are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without prior notice.

Check-in & Check-out Times

Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Guests arriving before 2:00 PM may store their luggage at the front desk while waiting for their room to be ready. For late arrivals, please inform the hotel in advance to ensure smooth check-in. Valid identification (passport or national ID) and a credit card for incidentals are required at check-in. For foreign passport holders, Malaysian Tourism Tax will be collected at check-in.

Early Check-in & Late Check-out Policy

Early check-in (before 2:00 PM) and late check-out (after 12:00 PM) are available upon request and subject to room availability. A charge of RM 10 per hour applies for early check-in or late check-out. Requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance when possible, though we will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests. If you require guaranteed early check-in or late check-out, we recommend booking an additional night. Please contact our front desk or concierge team to arrange early check-in or late check-out services.

Malaysian Tourism Tax

In accordance with Malaysian government regulations, a Tourism Tax of RM 10 per room per night is applicable to all foreign passport holders staying at Central City Hotel Kuala Lumpur. This tax is mandatory and will be collected at check-in. Malaysian citizens and permanent residents are exempt from this tax upon presentation of valid identification. The Tourism Tax is separate from room rates and other charges. This tax is remitted directly to the Malaysian government and is not retained by the hotel. Please ensure you have the required documentation to verify your residency status if claiming exemption.

Smoke-Free Policy

Central City Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms, public areas, and indoor spaces. Guests who wish to smoke may use designated outdoor smoking areas only. Violation of this policy will result in a cleaning fee of RM 500 charged to your account. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a healthy and comfortable environment for all guests. Electronic cigarettes and vaping devices are also subject to the same restrictions as traditional smoking.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for any damage to hotel property caused during their stay. You will be charged for any missing items, damages beyond normal wear and tear, or excessive cleaning required. Please report any pre-existing damage or issues immediately upon check-in. Guests must respect other guests and maintain reasonable noise levels, especially during quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. We recommend using the in-room safe for valuables. Guests must comply with all hotel policies, local laws, and regulations during their stay.

Liability & Force Majeure

Central City Hotel Kuala Lumpur shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property during your stay, except where caused by our negligence. The hotel is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or modifications to services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or refunds where possible. The hotel reserves the right to relocate guests to alternative accommodation of similar standard if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

Policy Updates & Modifications

Central City Hotel Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. For significant policy changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify guests with existing reservations. If you do not agree with any changes to these terms, please contact us to discuss your reservation. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
